To help our clients design and implement a document management program that best serves their needs, making them more efficient, effective and productive. DRD Information Management is a company that truly believes in quality of service.
DRD began operations in July, 2004 as a response to a stated need. In conversation with his attorney, Ron Bush discovered the need for competent information management with quality service. Attorneys can generate boxes of files for each criminal and civil court case and volumes of paperwork for bankruptcies, estates and divorces. Office space is too expensive, basements susceptible to flooding, and self-storage units are an invitation to theft and vandalism, thereby compromising the integrity of stored records.
After thoroughly researching the industry and legislative guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPPA, Ron developed a complete business plan and began operations in a modern warehouse property. The business has increased ten-fold and continues to grow at a stable but quick pace due to its efficient operations from capable leadership and competent employees.
Document Management (also known as Record Management) refers to professional information management – either in electronic or physical form - from the time the piece of information is received or created, to its processing or distribution and use, to its placement in storage and retrieval systems (via document retention programs) until eventual elimination (through document destruction programs) or identification for permanent archival.
ARMA International states that 60% of workers’ time is devoted to working with records. |
 |
38% of staff believes they waste substantial time hunting for information (you thought it was higher, perhaps!). In today’s world of personal computers and internet-enabled environment, 15% of organizations’ revenues go to the creation, management and distribution of information.
Today, government regulations require confidential and secure handling of your records through proper document retention and document destruction protocols. These regulations include:
 |
Business Continuity
Through our document storage services and disaster recovery services, your computer backup tapes and other magnetic media, vital records and important files can be quickly returned or delivered to an alternate disaster recovery site following a natural or man-made disaster. Our services allow your alternate disaster recovery site to be up and running with mission-critical files and papers quickly. |
Or, for more efficient access, scan paper documents into digital images with digital document management, allowing your files and information to be available at your alternate disaster recovery site immediately.
Prevention of Employee-Related Sabotage
Keeping key information assets separate from general employee access is an excellent way of protecting your organization and mission critical information. Don’t allow critical information or backups to be accessible by disgruntled employees. Protect your assets with DRD offsite document retention and electronic document management services.
Off Site Data Storage/Internet Back-Up
It is not a question of IF your hard drive will fail, but rather WHEN.
Similarly, your network or office server surely contains mission critical data. Whether on your personal computer, laptop or office server, don't let your hard drive crash containing the sole copy of your vital records without a reliable back up.
At DRD Information Management, we make it painless and easy with our disaster recovery planning. Don’t let the term fool you; disaster recovery planning does not have to mean flood or fire. Hard drive failure in a computer or server can be adequately protected by our disaster recovery planning services. |

Comprehensive Document Retention & Secure Access
With DRD magnetic media and document storage services, we provide same day or next day delivery or pick-up of your most sensitive documents. Know that they are well protected not only in our secure facility, but in transit as well.
All storage boxes in our document retention facility are bar coded for quick and accurate retrieval. Optionally, we can index and bar code each file within a box. |
All customer retention schedules are fully monitored, with each customer being duly notified when documents are due to be destroyed. Upon notification, our document destruction services ensure documents are thoroughly shredded, with a certificate of destruction provided upon completion. An appropriate retention schedule, that is properly adhered to, will decrease your organization’s legal liabilities.
With DRD document retention services, your documents are fully accessible via the Internet through a dedicated firewall and extensive electronic security. This enables access to your records 24 hours a day seven days a week, using a standard web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Leverage the Internet to place orders for pick-up or delivery, track the status of orders, execute queries and print reports. You can even combine our available web services with Scan On Demand™ or High-Speed Digital Imaging to bring hard copies of your stored documents to you in PDF format digitally and instantly online! Request one document, a complete file or thousands of files to be digitized (scanned) and, within minutes, they are made available to you across the Internet (also available for delivery on CD or DVD).
